As Mary’s Meals celebrates its 20th anniversary, Founder, Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow reflects on its 20-year history from the Shed in Dalmally, Scotland – the place where it all began. What stemmed from an unexpected meeting with a young boy in Malawi in 2002, has grown into an international organisation, serving nutritious meals to more than 2.2 million children in 20 countries every school day.

In this special edition 20th anniversary video, Magnus touches on the charity's growth over the past two decades, the dedication of its global family and the billions of meals served to children in some of the world's poorest communities since its inception. He also highlights how much work remains to ensure every child receives one meal every day at school and that Mary’s Meals will strive, each day, to reach the next hungry child.

Mary’s Meals will be marking its 20th anniversary this year by sharing a host of captivating content via its global channels. Supporters can enjoy a mix of stories, case studies, videos and more, as we fondly look back over two decades of Mary’s Meals.
