Irish Food start-up fiid donates 20,000 school meals

Since launching in December 2018, Irish plant-based food company fiid has donated 20,000 meals to Mary’s Meals

Every time a customer buys a fiid product, a nutrient packed school meal is provided to a child in the developing world. fiid is planning to donate 200,000 meals to the charity by the end of 2019.

David Rose, executive director of Mary’s Meals Ireland says “We are delighted to be partnering with fiid. This donation alone will feed over 77 children for a full school year. On behalf of the children, I would like to thank fiid and their customers for making this possible. Mary’s Meals looks forward to working with the company in enabling more children stay in education through the provision of a daily healthy meal. fiid really is food with a conscience.”
