The Shed That Fed A Million Children
Today, thanks to your support, Mary’s Meals is reaching 2,279,941 of the world’s poorest children, providing them with a good meal each day that they attend school.
We’re very excited that The Shed that Fed a Million Children, written by our founder and global CEO Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow, is out now.
From a small shed in Dalmally, Argyll, in 1992, Magnus asked for donations of aid for a one-off trip to war-torn Bosnia-Herzegovina. What happened in the weeks, months and years that followed not only surprised Magnus, but inspired tens of thousands of people across the world to join a movement that could one day mark the end of child hunger.
The Shed that Fed a Million Children charts the remarkable journey so far.
